Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis has more than 40 enemy types across five races and six boss fights. Ironhide has confirmed both numbers and has published almost nothing else: no boss name, no boss mechanic and only three faction names.

The Named Factions
The Shadow Order
Cloaked raiders introduced during the demo and covered in Devlog #19. This is the best-documented enemy faction in the game, and it is the one faction that appeared in playable content.
The Oni
Devlog #27, titled To Hell and Back, covers the Oni's origin.
⚠️ An unresolved contradiction. Community documentation lists Oni as a returning hero from the 2011 game, and the heroes page reflects that. Our research also connects Oni to a devlog about origins, which reads more like an enemy faction. We have not resolved which is correct, so treat the Oni as either until the game ships. The characters page carries the same warning.
The Primordials
Devlog #17 gives them a single evocative line: "In the First Age, before kingdoms and before memory, the Primordials shaped the world." They read as ancient history rather than a conventional enemy faction, but they are officially named. The story page places them in context.
Other Enemy Material
Orcs. Bolin Farslayer's backstory refers to an orc invasion that broke through the Western Wall, and describes the orcs as "greenskins". This is a hero backstory rather than an enemy database entry, so we label it partial, but it is the clearest indication of a conventional enemy race in the game.
Five races. Ironhide confirms five enemy races in total. Three faction names are known and only one of them, the Shadow Order, is confirmed to be one of the five. We do not guess at the other four.
The Bosses
Six boss fights exist. Not one has been named.
This is the single biggest information gap about the game, and it is not for lack of looking. Ironhide's presskit, the official site, the Steam description, the devlog series and the community wiki all confirm the count of six without naming a single one.
We are not going to guess. A boss page built on plausible-sounding invented names is worse than no boss page, because it is the kind of content that gets copied by other sites until it looks like a fact. If you see a list of Kingdom Rush 6 bosses elsewhere before launch, it is either a leak we cannot verify or an invention.
The honest version of this page is short, and it will stay short until Ironhide publishes something. After launch, this is the page we expect to grow fastest.
Why The Gap Exists
Boss identities are the most reliably withheld reveal in game marketing: naming a boss spoils the story, and this particular game's story is its main selling point. With a campaign built around Vez'nan's origin, the bosses are almost certainly plot-relevant, which makes them the last thing Ironhide would publish early.

FAQ
How many enemy types are in Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis?
More than forty, spread across five races.
How many bosses are there?
Six boss fights, confirmed by Ironhide.
Who are the bosses?
Not announced. Ironhide has named none of them. The full FAQ repeats that answer in the context of the rest of the pre-launch questions.
What is the Shadow Order?
A faction of cloaked raiders introduced in the demo and covered in Devlog #19.
What are the Primordials?
An ancient force described as shaping the world in the First Age, before kingdoms and before memory.
Is Oni a boss?
No evidence supports that. Community sources list Oni as a returning hero, and our research also connects the name to an enemy-origin devlog. It is unresolved either way, and Oni is definitely not one of the six confirmed bosses by name.
